Section 1 – Fruits

Rules and Regulations

  1.  All entries must have been grown by the exhibitor since last fair.
  2. In selecting fruit for exhibition, choose specimens that would bring the highest market price.
  3. Keep the following suggestions in mind when selecting specimens:
    1. All specimens should be of the same variety and should be true to variety.
    2. All specimens should be uniform in size, shape, color, and maturity.
    3. All specimens should be free of dirt, disease, blemishes, and damage.
    4. All specimens should be medium in size.  The biggest isn’t necessarily best.
    5. Be certain the correct number of specimens is displayed.

Section 2 – Nuts

Rules and Regulations

  1. All entries must have been grown by the exhibitor since the last fair.
  2. Ten specimens of a specific variety must be entered in each class.
  3. Only mature nuts that are dry and ready for use will be considered for judging.
