Dept 22 – Lawn Stock Garden Tractor Pulls

GENERAL RULES

  1. You can’t run altered tractor in stock classes, and you can’t run stock tractor in altered classes.
  2. No 14hp twins in youth class.
  3. No 16hp twins in 16hp adult classes, and no 14hp twins in 14hp adult classes.
  4. No snowmobile or motorcycle engines allowed.
  5. MUST have working brakes to stop tractor.

TRACK OPERATIONS

  1. The first puller can’t come back unless the sled is changed.
  2. The Sled operator is in charge of sled and track
  3. Track officials may be questioned if there is a problem.
  4. All tractors with driver must be weighed before hooking to the sled.
  5. Weight will be randomly checked.
  6. If tractor attempts to stop within 20-foot mark that tractor will be allowed to try again.
  7. No shifting gears when pulling.
  8. All tractors will stop when directed by track officials.
  9. A full pull will be when front of the sled is over full pull line.

TIRES

  1. No studs, chains, pro, ATV, UTV, cut or sharpened unless stated in the rules.
  2. No dual tires.
  3. Rubber tires only.

IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATIONS

  1. Fighting or foul language.
  2. Must have at least one hand on the steering wheel, at all times.
  3. Consumption of alcohol or under the influence.
  4. If anything falls off the tractor while hooked to the sled.
  5. If anyone creates a problem they will be asked to leave, and also the tractor pullers they are associated with.

WEIGHTS AND WEIGHT BRACKETS

  1. Each driver must sign an insurance waiver before being allowed to hook to the sled.
  2. If anyone shows up late, they will be permitted to sign up and join the next class that is to be run.
  3. A tractor can only enter once in each class.
  4. ALL RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME DURING THE YEAR

YOUTH CLASS

  1. All youth must wear a helmet.
  2. Youth may move to the adult 14hp class if they can operate tractor by themselves.
  3. Must be at least 6 years of age to pull. Will move to adult class at 12yrs.
  4. Driver must be able to control tractor by him or herself going down the track.
  5. Max hp is 14hp single cylinder.
  6. Maximum of 4000 rpms.
  7. Governor must be working.
  8. Hitch can be adjustable at 11 inches and have a 2-inch hole, hitch must be stationary.
  9. Must have wheelie bars 6 inches behind tires and 4 inches off the ground.
  10. Max tire size 24x12x12.
  11. Mandatory, working kill switch, will be checked randomly.
  12. No carb block spacers.
  13. Must have air cleaner.
  14. Must have reverse.
  15. No aftermarket heads.
  16. Head straps are allowed.
  17. REMEMBER THIS CLASS IS FOR THE KIDS AND TO GET THEM INTRESTED IN THE SPORT

STOCK SINGLE AND TWIN CLASSES 4000 RPM

  1. All tractors are to use factory throttle, foot throttle will be allowed.
  2. 4000 RPM limit.
  3. Governor must be working.
  4. Steel flywheels are permitted.
  5. Tractors must be stock appearing with factory wheelbase.
  6. Hitch can be adjustable at 11 inches with a 2-inch hole and must be stationary in all directions.
  7. May have weight brackets.
  8. May have straight pipe and must be pointed above the hood.
  9. Must have wheelie bars 6 inches behind tires and 4 inches off the ground.
  10. If tractor has a mower deck, the belt must be removed.
  11. Must have air filter.
  12. 24x12x12 max tire size for 14hp and down, no cutting allowed.
  13. 26x12x12 max tire size for 15hp and up, no cutting allowed.
  14. Mandatory working kill switch will be checked randomly.
  15. No carb spacers allowed.
  16. Must have reverse.
  17. Head straps allowed on single cylinders.
  18. No extra pulleys on side of belt driven tractors unless it’s the mower pulley.
  19. No crank triggers.
  20. No aftermarket heads.
  21. No alcohol for fuel
