Double Tree & Powder Puff Tractor Pull

Entry Fee $5.00 per tractor

  1. General rules apply.
  2. Driver must be 16 years of age or older.
  3. Tapering of cleat only, no cutting in front of cleat.
  4. Drawbar must be minimum length of 24" from center axle to point of hook, parallel to ground and 18" from top of hitching device to ground. Fast hitches must be locked out.
  5. Hitching device to be not more than 1" thick and must have 3" diameter opening. Pulling point may not be more than 1½" from back edge of hitching device.
  6. All tractors running high RPM to have a 12" side shield covering fan, electric fan, or removed belt or fan. Stock RPM tractors must have a fan shroud.
  7. All tractors running with a stroked crank must have side shields from radiator to belt housing.
  8. Engine must be agriculture or industrial type engine.
  9. Double Tree will be paced at 3 MPH and Powder Puff will have a 2nd gear limit.

Section 1C - 4 Wheel Vehicle Pull

Entry Fee $15.00 per Vehicle
Registration & Weigh Ins 6:00 PM

  1. Driver must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. All contestants must sign waiver of liability.
  3. No one will be allowed on the track area except contestants and track officials. No helpers allowed. Only one driver is allowed in vehicle.
  4. There will be no weights on front end of vehicle.
  5. The judges have the right to stop and disqualify the driver of any vehicle that is not being operated in a safe manner.
  6. Violations of any rules shall constitute a disqualification.
  7. All vehicles must be in neutral gear while being hitched to and unhitched from sled.
  8. Vehicles must be stopped upon signal from judge.
  9. Consumption of alcoholic beverages prior to or during the pull will be cause for disqualification.
  10. Number one puller will be a test puller and may take the pull, if the weight machine is okay, or re-pull in the third position.
  11. All pulls start from a tight hitch. No jerking permitted. Contestants will be allowed two attempts in thirty feet. Puller must return to starting line for second attempt.
  12. The pull will be considered over when the forward motion of the load stops. The judge will hold hole digging to a minimum.
  13. All vehicles must have a current license plate and inspection sticker.
  14. Added weights must be secured to vehicle. No weights on front end or in cab.
  15. Ring or clevis-type hook must meet approval of committee.
  16. Excessive loss of liquid by a vehicle while in forward motion during pull will disqualify the driver unless due to internal breakage.
  17. No visual modifications to engine are permitted other than air cleaners, headers, and no open exhaust.
  18. Dual wheels are not allowed. Must have D.O.T. approved tires with no altered tread.
  19. Maximum drawbar height is 24" with a minimum of a 3" diameter hold for hook, no ball hitch.
  20. No rigid suspension.
  21. One driver per vehicle.
  22. Committee reserves the right to change rules if necessary.
  23. Legitimate entries will be decided by the committee only - no exceptions.
  24. Any discrepancies will be between driver and committee only - no other person.
  25. All hitches must be at the most rearward part of the vehicle, such as rear bumper, tailgate or bed, etc.
  26. Any hot-rodding, excessive speed, or recklessness on grounds will cause driver and vehicle, etc. to be disqualified.
  27. Must have original type of engine and frame for vehicle being entered.
  28. Diesel engines may use one turbocharger only unless factory equipped.

Weight Classes:
135 - 5,000 lbs.     136 - 6,000 lbs.
137 - 6,500 lbs.     138 - 7,000 lbs.
