2007 Fair Project
In 2007, the Fair Association received a $10,000 matching grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's Agricultural and Rural Youth Grant program.
Under the direction of Kelly Smith-Wells, a high school Vocational Agriculture teacher in the Danville Area School District, the grant will be used to build a 36' x 100' pole building.
The new pole building will house goats, sheep, and horses that are shown by FFA and 4-H members. In addition, a livestock office will eventually be added to the building.
